Our on air schedule basically consists of music, news, public
service announcements, sliders and jingles. During daytime hours
between 6:00AM and 8:00PM we play Classic Country. From 8:00pm
to 6:00AM we play everything else. Our music library consists of
over 6000 songs in OTS format. Most of the songs are in English but
we also have a folder containing over 1000 songs in Spanish. The
station is automated and generates all the playlists automatically
based upon a script template.

As previously described we "auto-generate" our playlists in 1 hour
blocks. All of our music both English and Spanish is catagorized into
specific folders. Our English music folders are as follows: 70's, 80's,
|
2000's, Rock, Crank It, Body Talk, Guitar Rock. The Spanish music
resides in a single folder simply called "musica latina". We also have
a Christmas folder with around 300 Christmas songs in it.

Since our coverage area is so small (about 12 square miles), it makes
|
no since to play spots for profit. Taking this into consideration we are
a non-commercial non-profit radio station. All of our PSA's (Public
Service Announcements) are downloaded from the internet. Our news
is produced by the "International Radio Network" and is downloaded
directly from them via the internet. Most of our PSA's deal with
ecology, safety, self help, etc. The PSA's are changed out on a regular
basis but we keep some of them longer especially if we like them.

We are also interested in helping our community and neighbors. If you
have an event that you would like to have aired on XJO, please contact
us and we will air it for free. If you are a local artist or band that would
like to have your music aired (at no charge) on XJO, please contact us
we would be glad to accomodate you.
